Timemachine, the rogue iPhone and Twitter the saviour

Now here is a strange situation. Yes, I am supposed to be a technologist (read geek). However, I was recently perplexed by a series of events that had me, well let's just say, on the way to abandoning technology and returning to paper for good!

I am a Mac Devotee or Fanboy (god I hate that term) but it does describe how much I respect and value the Mac platform over Windows.

However Thursday of last week threatened my love and reliance on all things technology. This is how the sequence of events played out...
